im more concerned with getting fucking petroleum out of the air at the moment

and why would you want to get rid of a CRT when theyre so much better than everything else

modern lcd's apparently have superior text rendering capabilities? i guess that makes sense since lcds have much denser dot pitches for pixels than a crt's phosphorous dots

people don't like crt's because they're large, heavy, and have big bevels - it's not aesthetically pleasing and some people don't have the space (my desk only fit one when i used crts and it would often fall over onto my fingers cuz it had half of it hanging off)

combustion is a very archaic way of generating mechanical labor but as it stands it's one of the only ways we can generate electricity
